  The Libbs brand name derives from Laboratório Industrial Brasileiro de Biologia e Síntese (Brazilian Industrial Biology and Synthesis Laboratory) – Libbs. In 1991, the company chose to adopt the brand Libbs in all of its communications.
• What is the difference between Libbs and Libbs Farmoquímica?

  Libbs is a pharmaceutical industry. Many different drugs, in varied pharmaceutical forms – pills, capsules, creams, ointments, powders, nasal sprays, and syrups – are part of the company’s product portfolio for the following specialties: cardiovascular, central nervous system, gynecology, respiratory, oncology, dermatology, urology, and gastroenterology.

  Libbs Farmoquímica produces active pharmaceutical ingredients (inputs). Libbs Farmoquímica manufactures great part of the raw material used by Libbs Pharmaceutical. Our chemical unit is an independent business, and it also commercializes its products to other companies in Brazil and throughout the world.     In light of its work in the health sector and its history of valuing diversity, balance, and quality of life, Libbs will support educational, cultural, and social projects related to the following themes: health, social integration of people with impairments, and quality of life for the elderly. Libbs receives projects sent in throughout the year.
